  • Volvo 240

    Produced from 1974 to 1993, the Volvo 240 range included the 242 two-door saloon, 244 four-door saloon and 245 estate. From the 1983 model year, all three used 240 rear badges.

  • Volvo 850

    The Volvo 850 combined saloon and estate body styles with transverse five-cylinder engineering; its performance range included the distinct T-5R and 850 R.

  • Volvo Amazon

    Presented as a prototype in 1956, the Volvo Amazon entered production in 1957; Volvo's model overview dates final production to 2 July 1970. Its saloon and estate bodies had different production spans, and front-seat three-point safety belts were introduced as standard equipment in 1959.

  • Volvo P1800

    The P1800 family developed from the British-built P1800 through the Swedish-assembled 1800S and fuel-injected 1800E coupés to the 1800ES sports estate. Its history includes a two-stage manufacturing transfer, engine changes and overlapping coupé and estate production.

  • Volvo PV444 and PV544

    Volvo's compact post-war saloon evolved from the PV444 into the PV544, with a one-piece windscreen, larger rear window, five-seat accommodation and, later, the B18 engine.
